I am finally on the back end of an almost month long cold/sinus thing! During my down couple weeks I got pretty behind on my cleaning. However, now that I'm feeling better I'm back on the horse! Today was day four in my rotation and I have done what I'm supposed to do every day and then some! I have also reorganized Taylor's closet, our hall closet, and a book shelf! So tomorrow is day 5: deep clean the kitchen. In addition to that I am also meeting with a new potential babysitting family, and sitting my usual family. Should be a busy, but hopefully another productive one.
I am 18 weeks pregnant today. We have our ultrasound next Friday, and I am both excited and terrified all at the same time. I can't wait to find out what we are having, but I am also scared that something might be wrong. Everyone that has guessed has pretty much guessed that the baby is a boy, which, if I had to guess I think I agree.
All throughout this pregnancy I have had this gnawing feeling in the back of my mind that something might be wrong. On the morning of our 20 week ultrasound with Taylor I had a nervous feeling. I remember even telling Trav "I'm sure everything's fine, but I'm nervous about today." Hind sight is of course 20/20 and that feeling must have been God preparing me for the news we were about to receive about her having cleft. It has been that little feeling every once and a while during this pregnancy. So I'm left to wonder if it is once again God trying to prepare me or if it is just my brain playing tricks on me. Most of the time I am more excited than scared, but it's still there poking it's ugly head up every once in awhile. I, of course, hope that this feeling is put to rest once and for all at our ultrasound next week.

Here Goes
In trying to learn new ways to save our family money I have bought two books. One is called "Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half" and the other "America's Cheapest Family Gets You Right On The Money" both are by Steve and Annette Economides. For more information about them and their books visit their website www.americascheapestfamily.com.
I have started reading "Cut Your Grocery Bill In Half" and have learned a few good tips so far that I will start implementing in my grocery shopping and planning. The first tip I will be using is to plan out our meals for the month, and only go shopping once a month. The reason for doing this is because by going shopping once a month you avoid impulse buys. You can go to the grocery store once a month at spend $300 or go twice a week and spend $60 each trip and half the stuff you don't need or don't even equal a meal. The authors of the books buy all their food and cleaning supplies and toiletries for a family of seven for $350 a month, and they don't rely on hours of clipping coupons either. I hope to learn even more and I'll share what I learn and what tips I actually use as I go along.
Productive all around... A couple days ago I had a very productive day! I cleaned the house with the help of my sis in law, did all my laundry, and even organized the laundry room. It all was really needed, and I felt so good when it was done! Now to accomplish my real goal of keeping it clean! So far so good! I have kept up with dishes and laundry and keeping things tidy. I am trying to keep it in my mind that I just need to do it! Things need to be done and not doing them right away will only make them worse so I need to just suck it up and do them right away.
Reading... Another one of my goals is to read at least a little bit everyday. So far I have been doing good with this too! I have been reading three books. One for fun, one for personal growth, and one for bettering our family.
Baby Update... I am eleven weeks pregnant today and feeling pretty good. My nausea hasn't been bad really at all so other than started to get a baby bump, being more tired, and this stupid acne taking over my body i'm doing great! ha. I've got another appointment this week and I'm hoping we'll be able to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler. I don't know for sure if we'll be able to since I won't quite be 12 weeks yet, but we'll see.
We will see see how things continue to go. Hoping and praying I keep having days like these!

Just In Case...
I have decided to take a break from working out for a little while. Today I am 7 weeks 2 days pregnant; this day was the day we lost our last baby. I know that it is good to exercise when you're pregnant, but I just feel better with taking it easy for the next week or so just to be safe. My first appointment is in 10 days so I will see what my doctor says at my appointment and take it from there. I feel bad that I'm not going to be doing really anything as far as exercise, but I would rather not be as active and save this baby than to possibly lose a pound (which technically I shouldn't really be doing anyways anymore). So that's where I am right now. I am still going to eat as healthy as I can to try and make this pregnancy healthier than with Taylor, and I will pick up with my workout as soon as I feel I'm in the clear with this baby.

Change Of Plans
Trav and I have pretty much come to the conclusion that he won't be doing P90X with me very often. Since he isn't going to really be doing it with me I've decided to do it a little differently at least during my pregnancy. I've decided I'm going to mostly just do the more cardio workouts. I will do Plyometrics, Kenpo X, Yoga X, and maybe Core Synergistics. We'll see how this goes... Hoping I don't get to sick so I'll have the motivation to do it! For now I'm not looking for amazing results considering the fact that I have to take it easy cause of the pregnancy so my goals during my pregnancy are to mainly stay active so my body will hopefully bounce back a little faster this time around and hopefully bounce back completely this time!! we'll see!

Must... Keep... Going...
The past few days we've gotten a little lazy with our workouts. It's making me nervous, but Trav hasn't really been doing it with me (still) so I'm having a hard time finding motivation to do it on my own. Thoughts of "just do it after you have the baby" keep creeping into my mind. I just want this pregnancy to be a healthier one than with Taylor so when I do need to lose the weight after it comes off easier and there isn't as much to lose! I hope and pray God continues or starts to give me more motivation to keep up with this workout and have a healthier pregnancy this time around!

140
I saw a number on the scale the other day that I haven't seen since the beginning of my pregnancy with Taylor. 140! Granted it didn't even last all day, but it was still exciting! I hope I lose at least a little big more before I need to start gaining for baby (That's right! I'm pregnant! almost 6 weeks along!). I want to start this pregnancy at the healthiest weight possible, and not gain as much as I did with Taylor. My doctors never said anything about the close to fifty pounds I gained with Taylor, but I know it was to much. Some women need to gain that much I know, but I didn't and i refuse to this time! It would've been one thing if I had gained that much by eating healthy and proper portions, but that wasn't the case. Therefore, this time I vow to do better at eating right and staying active.
Even before it was confirmed I was pregnant I thought I was so from the beginning I have been taking it easy when doing P90X. I still work hard, but make sure to not over do it or do any jumping. I am excited to see how how much I gain with this pregnancy! We aren't telling anyone but our immediate family and a few friends for now because our last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage so we want to make sure we are in the clear before we tell the world. We are hoping and praying that I am able to carry this baby to full term and he/she is whole and healthy!
We are into our second week of P90X and still doing pretty good! Tonight is yoga which I only did about 20 minutes of last week before I was so bored. Hopefully this time Trav will do it with me so I finish the whole thing!
